PT ‘Designer’ Series Selection Notes
Stated wheel loadings are for operation under ideal conditions, i.e., the wheel operates infrequently on a smooth
surface without axial loading. Wheel loadings must be reduced as follows for any of the following conditions:
Frequent Use
- In use for more than 45 minutes continuous operation, reduce loadings by 25%.
Driving Applications
- Reduce loadings by 30%. Speeds of 6 - 10 kph - Reduce loadings by 20%.
Speeds of 10 - 16kph reduce loadings by 30%. Reductions are cumulative if more than one condition exists.
